Mexico faces South Korea in a match that will have millions of fans across Southern California glued to their screens. But in Chula Vista, thousands wil be watching together — at one of the most ambitious community events the region has ever seen.

Running from 12PM to 10PM at Memorial Park on Third Avenue, Puro Soccer Fest is a full-day celebration of soccer, culture, music, and the community that makes Southern California’s Latino heartbeat what it is. There is no ticket price. There is no catch. Adriana Gallardo and her team have put this together because that is what they do — they show up for the community that built them.
